UTME: 19-year-old commits suicide in Lagos over ‘low score’

- She ingested rodent poison and was rushed to the hospital but passed away before receiving the provisional admission notification she got 30 minutes after her death.
- The incident has caused grief and outrage among locals, who blamed the examination board for the widespread failures in the 2025 results.
- Her family has since taken her body back to Abeokuta for burial amid voices calling for reform in the examination process.
