Months after N8b budget, TCN rallies communities against tower vandalism

- Despite an N8 billion federal budget for awareness creation, over 18 transmission towers were vandalised within six days in states including Rivers, Abia, and Kano.
- TCN is actively re-erecting collapsed towers and appealed to youths to support securing the national grid, highlighting the economic disruptions caused by vandalism.
- Community leaders have shown willingness to partner with TCN by proposing local surveillance teams to safeguard infrastructure as a shared asset.
