FG denies entry to eight foreigners without valid visas, warns airlines
The Nigerian government, through the Minister of Interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, confirmed turning back eight foreigners who attempted to enter Nigeria without valid visas last week.
The government has met with airline operators to enforce stricter immigration compliance, warning that airlines carrying undocumented passengers will face sanctions.
The minister emphasized that Nigeria will no longer tolerate visa-less entry, comparing the rules to those of the U.S. and the U.K., stating Nigeria is not a dumping ground.
This action underscores the government’s commitment to national security and immigration law enforcement.
