Cultism: Edo residents now vet prospective tenants, says commissioner
The Edo State Commissioner for Communications and Information, Hon. Paul Ohonbamu, highlighted increased caution among residents when admitting tenants, including thorough background checks due to heightened security concerns.
He commended Governor Monday Okpebholo’s strict enforcement of laws against kidnapping, cultism, and related crimes, contributing to peace and security in the state.
The government has bolstered security efforts by providing vehicles and recovering thousands of illegal firearms, and is also actively addressing flooding issues.
These measures reflect the governor’s commitment to creating a safer and more investor-friendly environment in Edo State.
