Court remands woman for allegedly posting victims’ phonographic videos
The Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded Ogechi Njaka in Suleja Correctional Centre for allegedly posting pornographic videos of her victims on her Facebook account.
She pleaded not guilty to a five-count charge filed by the Inspector-General of Police related to cybercrimes, including transmission of indecent videos and derogatory comments.
The offences are charged under the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) Act 2015 (Amendment) 2024, accused of causing a breakdown of law and order and posing threats to lives.
Her trial and bail application have been adjourned until June 5 by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik.
