Plateau State Commissioner of Transport, Mr. Jatau Davou Gyang, reported that N600 million was spent on repairing the broken railway in the state, funded entirely by the government without levying individuals.

Despite repairs conducted by experts from the Lagos railway corporation, the Jos railway broke down again during a test run, though the commissioner affirmed the experts did not fail in their task.

The commissioner also mentioned that 30 Metro Buses were purchased by Governor Caleb Mutfwang to ease transportation issues, but declined to disclose the cost.

Additionally, promised CNG buses to all states have yet to be delivered.
