GES Basic Schools Academic Calendar 2020/2025
The Ghaha Education Service, GES basic schools academic calendar for the 2020/2025 academic year has been released and available below.
The Ghaha Education Service (GES) has directed all basic schools, comprising kindergarten, primary and junior high schools in the country to strictly adhere to the calendar for the 2020/2025 academic year.
GES Academic Calendar for Basic Schools
According to a statement signed by the Ag. Director of the Basic Education Division of the GES, all schools are required to adhere to the specified dates and effectively use the stipulated instructional hours.
He also added that basic schools are to re-open on September 4th, 2020 for the 1st term of the 2020/2025 academic year with a commemoration of “My First Day at School”.
The academic calendar is for basic schools only. The 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will take place from 8th June to 12 June 2020.
