You won’t produce another governor after Fubara – Egwu tells Wike
Former Ebonyi State Governor Dr. Sam Egwu has criticized FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his unguarded personal attacks on southeast PDP leaders, following their collective concern over unresolved party leadership issues.
Wike dismissed the southeast PDP’s threat to reconsider their relationship with the party as empty and singled out Egwu and Achike Udenwa for criticism, which Egwu called embarrassing and unwarranted.
Egwu challenged Wike’s assertion about his political influence, citing his own record of producing successors and playing a key role in state politics, while accusing Wike of contributing to the political crisis in Rivers State.
He further warned Wike that his influence would diminish and urged him to allow the suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara to return to office to test his political control.
