Wema Bank Named 2025 Commercial Bank of the Year at NCMC Awards for Record Profits

The award highlighted Wema’s record-breaking ₦102 billion profit before tax in 2024 and strong year-on-year revenue and profitability growth.
CEO Moruf Oseni described the win as validation of the bank’s transformation and commitment to innovation and sustainable growth, coinciding with their 80th anniversary.
Wema Bank also received a nomination for the prestigious Company of the Year category, emphasizing its expanding influence beyond traditional banking.
