Trump Announces ‘Full And Immediate’ India-Pakistan Ceasefire

US President Donald Trump announced a full and immediate ceasefire agreement between India and Pakistan after intense conflict involving jet fighters, missiles, drones, and artillery.
The ceasefire resulted from extensive negotiations led by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Vice President J.D. Vance with both Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The agreement includes the start of broad talks at a neutral site, aiming to resolve underlying issues between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
Pakistan’s foreign minister confirmed the ceasefire, but there was no immediate response from India.
