Tinubu To Unveil Landmark Agricultural Mechanisation Centre In Katsina Friday

President Bola Tinubu is set to inaugurate the Katsina State Agricultural Mechanisation Centre on May 2, a facility aimed at revolutionizing farming practices and improving food security in Northern Nigeria.
The centre, located along the Tashar Bala–Kano Road, reflects the vision of Governor Malam Dikko Radda’s administration, recognized for its reforms in agriculture and socio-economic development.
Woerka Nigeria Co. Ltd., an engineering firm specializing in heavy-duty equipment for agriculture and construction, constructed and equipped the centre, emphasizing technology transfer and skill development.
The project includes plans for a tractor assembly plant in Katsina, aiming to embed knowledge and ensure sustainable machinery servicing within the local economy.
Katsina State officials highlight the centre as a cornerstone for agricultural prosperity, food security, and economic self-reliance through strategic partnerships and visionary leadership.
