Tinubu Orders Security Crackdown and Peace Talks in Benue Amid Rising Killings

The president instructed Governor Hycinth Alia to lead reconciliation efforts among farmers, herders, and communities to stop the violence.
Tinubu called on political and community leaders to avoid inflammatory statements that could escalate tensions and encouraged collaboration for harmony and justice.
The statement emphasized the crucial role of dialogue and fair treatment to achieve peaceful coexistence in Benue.
