Terrorism: Stop linking us, Nnamdi Kanu to Simon Ekpa

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has strongly denied any association with Simon Ekpa, a self-proclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra based in Finland.
IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful, accused the Nigerian Department of State Services (DSS) of falsely linking Ekpa to IPOB and its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, branding such attempts as fraudulent and malicious.
Ekpa, facing terrorism charges in Finland, has publicly stated he is not part of IPOB, which maintains a peaceful, lawful self-determination movement under Kanu’s leadership.
IPOB condemned DSS’s media campaigns and accused the agency of human rights abuses against Kanu, urging the public and international community to reject disinformation.
