A new report suggests that upcoming US tariffs initially targeting Apple will also apply to Samsung smartphones, potentially causing a 30-40% price increase on Galaxy devices.

The tariffs, announced by President Trump, impose a 25% duty on smartphones produced abroad and sold in the US, with Samsung primarily manufacturing outside the US in countries like Vietnam.

This price hike could make premium models like the Galaxy Z Fold 7 significantly more expensive, reaching around $2,500 if tariffs are implemented.

However, there is uncertainty whether the tariffs will be enforced as previous measures were paused or reduced.
