Samsung Wallet adds ‘Tap to Transfer’ feature that works with physical cards too
- Samsung Wallet introduces a new “Tap to Transfer” feature for peer-to-peer payments using NFC technology.
- Users can send money to friends or family through Samsung Wallet using debit cards, including those stored in Google Wallet, Apple Wallet, or physical cards with NFC capabilities.
- The feature requires a contactless Visa or Mastercard debit card from participating U.S. banks and is currently limited to use in the United States.
- Payments can also be sent via phone number to other Samsung Wallet users, and the feature will be available later in the month.
