Samsung is reportedly in talks to partner with Perplexity AI, aiming to integrate its AI-powered search functions into Samsung Galaxy smartphones and enhance the Bixby digital assistant.

This move could reduce Samsung’s reliance on Google’s Gemini AI for certain features, potentially debuting in the Galaxy S26 line early next year.

The deal involves Samsung investing cash into Perplexity AI, with integration expected in the Samsung web browser and digital assistant.
