Rivers crisis: “Help me thank Tinubu for timely intervention” – Fubara
Rivers State Governor Sir Siminalayi Fubara thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his timely intervention that prevented the state’s political situation from deteriorating into chaos amid an ongoing crisis.
He revealed that a peace and reconciliation process is underway to restore the executive and legislative institutions in the state and assured that democracy and good governance would soon return.
Fubara acknowledged national figures who supported the intervention and called on stakeholders to prioritize the state’s interests over personal ones for progress.
He also expressed optimism about reconciliation talks with Minister Barrister Nyesom Wike and pledged to respect the trust of Rivers people and Nigerians who supported him.
