President Donald Trump accused Beyoncé, Bruce Springsteen, Oprah Winfrey, and Bono of participating in an “illegal election scam” by allegedly accepting payments from Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign for endorsements and performances.

Trump claimed that paying artists for endorsements disguised as entertainment was unlawful and called for a major investigation, citing an unverified $11 million payment to Beyoncé.

Representatives for the artists and Harris’ campaign have denied the allegations, with Harris’ officials stating no fees were paid to performers and Beyoncé’s camp clarifying that she did not accept payment for her rally appearance.

Springsteen and Beyoncé had publicly supported Harris during the election, while Bono, an Irish citizen, did not endorse any U.S. candidate.
