Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode reacted to a viral video showing former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi being stopped by Vatican security during the Pope Leo XIV inauguration for lacking an invitation pass.

In the video, Obi, accompanied by Cardinal Francis Arinze, was reportedly bounced from entering the VVIP section but was later allowed in after intervention by President Bola Tinubu.

However, Fani-Kayode noted that Obi was still not allowed near the Pope and instead paid homage to President Tinubu, advising Obi’s supporters to only attend events where they are welcomed.
