The Plateau State Government has given motorcycle operators a 72-hour ultimatum to leave the Jos-Bukuru metropolis due to violations of a ban within the Greater Jos Master Plan.

Over 400 motorcycles have been reported operating illegally, prompting concerns about public safety and traffic enforcement.

State Commissioner for Transport, Davou Gyang, warned of strict legal actions and deployed mobile courts to enforce the ban immediately.

The ban aims to reduce urban traffic congestion, accidents, and security threats linked to motorcycle use in the area.
