Pastor Adeboye Says God Warned Him His Firstborn Would Die If He Left RCCG
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), revealed that God warned him he would lose his firstborn if he left the denomination.
The revelation came during the June Holy Ghost Service at Redemption City, Ogun State, where he lamented the trend of young Christians frequently switching churches.
He shared that early in his Christian journey, despite temptations to move among major ministries, God instructed him to remain with RCCG despite its then modest standing.
Adeboye urged believers to seek divine guidance in choosing and staying with a denomination, clarifying that he was not suggesting RCCG’s superiority over other churches.
