Adekunle Akinlade, former PDP deputy governorship candidate in Ogun State, officially rejoined the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday after resigning from PDP due to internal crises.

He returned along with his political loyalists from PDP and the Allied People’s Movement (APM), which he previously led into PDP ahead of the 2023 elections.

Akinlade pledged loyalty to Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and party elder Aremo Olusegun Osoba, affirming alignment with APC’s leadership.

He dismissed recent talks of an opposition coalition as driven by “vindictive and ambitious politicians.”
