NNPC Warns Public of Scams Involving Fake Representation and Unauthorized Solicitations
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Limited) has warned the public about impostors falsely claiming to represent the company and soliciting fees for meetings with its executives.
Olufemi Soneye, NNPC’s Corporate Communications Officer, stated that such activities are unauthorized, illegal, and strictly prohibited.
The company urged foreign investors and international entities to be cautious and report suspicious approaches to the authorities.
NNPC reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and advised all genuine engagements be conducted through official channels only.
