Nigeria Declares June 6 and 9 as Public Holidays for 2025 Eid-ul-Adha Celebration
The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Friday, June 6, and Monday, June 9, 2025, as public holidays for the Eid-ul-Adha celebration.
The declaration was made by Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, on behalf of Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
The minister congratulated Muslims and urged them to embody the spirit of sacrifice and pray for Nigeria’s peace and prosperity.
Tunji-Ojo also called on all Nigerians to support the administration’s efforts to restore Nigeria’s progress under President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
