  • The victims, from various Nigerian states, were deceived with false job promises and suffered sexual abuse, physical assault, and emotional trauma.
  • NIDCOM pledged to provide logistic support for family reunification and work with state governors on rehabilitation efforts.
  • The girls were transferred to NAPTIP for profiling and documentation, with calls for strict prosecution of traffickers to combat modern slavery.
