NELFUND expands students loan to vocational skills centres

Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has expanded its loan program to include vocational skills centres across more than 10 states, starting notably in Enugu.
The initiative aims to cover training costs, provide upkeep support, and supply tools to individuals pursuing technical education such as fashion design.
Visits were made to institutions in Enugu, including the Institute of Management and Technology and the MSME Clinics Fashion and Garment Hub, highlighting strong local partnerships.
Officials from both NELFUND and Enugu state expressed optimism about the program’s potential to support skill development and community empowerment through accessible zero-interest loans.
