Nasarawa Police Bust Notorious Car Theft Syndicate, Recover Stolen Enugu Vehicle
The Nasarawa State Police Command arrested a four-man car-snatching syndicate and recovered a stolen Toyota Venza from Enugu State within 24 hours of the crime.
The suspects were identified as Ibrahim Dahiru and Abdulrazaq Muhammed of Jos, Plateau State; Muhammad Sani from Potiskum, Yobe State; and Mustapha Isah from Bauchi State.
They allegedly carried out an armed carjacking at gunpoint in Enugu State, and were apprehended along the Doma-Lafia Road through prompt intelligence and inter-state collaboration.
The state Commissioner of Police, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, praised the operation as a major breakthrough in tackling organised vehicle theft and assured ongoing investigations into their criminal network.
