MKO Abiola’s Son: IBB Publicly Apologizes for Annuling Historic June 12 Election

This apology has helped legitimize the election results and bring closure to the Abiola family after years of controversy.
Lekan urged President Bola Tinubu to ensure the government settles all outstanding entitlements owed to MKO Abiola.
A new 440-page biography titled “MKO Abiola: Symbol of Democracy” will soon be launched, detailing Abiola’s life, political career, and his role in Nigeria’s democratic struggle.
