Labour Party: Abure Faction Sets Up Disciplinary Panel to Probe Otti, Others Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party (LP) held an emergency NEC meeting in Abuja, setting up a disciplinary committee to probe Abia State Governor Alex Otti and others for alleged anti-party activities.
The faction clarified it is not involved in any coalition talks with other political parties and endorsed the validity and outcomes of the 2024 National Convention.
They expressed confidence in the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Abure to lead the party towards unity and victory in upcoming elections.
The NEC congratulated Chief George Muoghalu as the LP candidate for the 2025 Anambra State Governorship election and urged support for him.
