Labour Party: Abure Faction Sets Up Disciplinary Panel to Probe Otti, Others Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities
- The Julius Abure-led faction of the Labour Party (LP) held an emergency NEC meeting in Abuja, setting up a disciplinary committee to probe Abia State Governor Alex Otti and others for alleged anti-party activities.
- The faction clarified it is not involved in any coalition talks with other political parties and endorsed the validity and outcomes of the 2024 National Convention.
- They expressed confidence in the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Abure to lead the party towards unity and victory in upcoming elections.
