Jay-Z has filed an amended complaint against his Jane Doe rape accuser and her lawyer Tony Buzbee, alleging continued malicious statements despite a voluntary dismissal of the original lawsuit.
The amended lawsuit claims the accuser’s public statements, including a TikTok video, show a reckless disregard for the truth and that Jay-Z and Roc Nation suffered financial harm, including the loss of significant loans and business opportunities.
Jay-Z also accuses Buzbee of directing edits to Wikipedia pages to enhance Buzbee’s reputation while damaging Jay-Z and Roc Nation, an allegation Buzbee dismisses as weak.
The legal battle includes contests over the validity of the claims, extortion accusations, and the protection of free speech, with upcoming court hearings scheduled.
