‘Israel won’t stop,’ Netanyahu tells Starmer, Macron, Carney over Gaza criticism
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has condemned British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney for calling to end Israel’s intensified military operations in Gaza, accusing them of offering Hamas a “huge prize.”
The three Western leaders jointly warned of further concrete actions unless Israel ceases its offensive and lifts restrictions on humanitarian aid, labeling the escalation as disproportionate.
Netanyahu emphasized Israel’s commitment to total victory over Hamas, stating the war is a defense against terrorism and will continue until hostages are released and Gaza is demilitarized.
Meanwhile, UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher highlighted the limited aid allowed into Gaza amid severe hunger and ongoing bombardment, warning of risks related to insecurity and looting.
