Nollywood actress Regina Chukwu shared an emotional account of her late husband’s battle with a deadly illness that drained their finances and eventually led to his death when their last child was only four months old.

She recounted the hardship of caring for her ailing husband, who was often described as a “living corpse” and even asked her to plead with his mother for a mercy death.

Despite these struggles, Regina paused her acting career for nearly eight years but has since returned and recently celebrated purchasing a new house and raising her children as a proud single mother.

Chukwu highlighted her resilience in the face of widowhood and the difficulties of managing life as a single parent after her husband’s passing.
