Google has announced that AI Mode performance data will be included in Search Console’s performance reports but cannot be separated from other search data like web search or ads.

Although AI Mode was launched in March in labs without Search Console reporting, the feature has now rolled out to all US searchers and corresponding data inclusion is expected soon.

Currently, there is no API or separate breakout for AI Mode data, and tracking remains limited due to a known bug that Google is addressing.

This limitation affects both organic search and paid ad performance metrics, despite ads being tested within AI Mode, raising concerns about transparency and control for marketers.
