FG Moves to End Exam Malpractice, Warns Offenders
The Nigerian Federal Ministry of Education, under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, has declared a zero-tolerance policy against exam malpractice to restore integrity in the education system.
They have partnered with the Nigeria Police, DSS, and other agencies, empowered by the Examination Malpractice Act of 1999, to prosecute anyone caught in exam cheating.
The crackdown targets students, parents, teachers, school heads, and the general public, urging everyone to report suspicious activities during exams.
The Ministry emphasizes that genuine effort in education must be rewarded to rebuild trust in Nigerian qualifications and institutions.
