FG begins enforcement of 40% fare deduction on CNG-converted commercial vehicles in Abuja

- The fare cuts range from N1,500 to N900 for routes like Area 1 to Gwagwalada, with similar reductions to other destinations.
- Over 50% of registered vehicles under the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) have been converted to CNG, with plans to expand further across Abuja and other states.
- The initiative aims to ease the economic burden on Nigerians, promote cleaner fuel use, and align with government efforts to empower youths via CNG-powered transport solutions.
