Federal High Court Announces July 28 Start for 2025 Annual Vacation with Limited Divisions Open
The Federal High Court of Nigeria announced its 2025 annual vacation will run from July 28 to September 16, resuming on September 17.
During this period, core divisions in Abuja, Lagos, and Port Harcourt will remain operational to handle cases of extreme urgency.
Judges assigned to work during the vacation include Justices Emeka Nwite and M. S. Liman in Abuja; Justices Deinde I. Dipeolu and Musa Kakaki in Lagos; and Justices P. M. Ayua and A. T. Mohammed in Port Harcourt.
The vacation aligns with Order 46, Rule 4(d) of the Federal High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2019, and Chief Judge John Tsoho extended his wishes for a pleasant vacation to all judges.
