El-Rufai Warns Tinubu Against Commissioning Incomplete Kaduna 300-Bed Hospital to Avoid Political Showmanship
Former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai has urged President Bola Tinubu not to allow his name to be used for political gain over the commissioning of the 300-bed hospital at Millennium City.
The hospital, expected to have 26 departments and advanced medical facilities, is reported to be incomplete despite planned commissioning this week.
El-Rufai highlighted the hospital’s development history, emphasizing his role in securing over N9 billion for its completion and warning against hasty commissioning to avoid poor quality work.
He called on the Kaduna APC administration to prioritize public needs over political showmanship and suggested delaying the commissioning until the hospital is fully operational.
