Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has inaugurated two committees to address critical issues of security and land disputes, aiming to enhance peace and stability.

The Livestock Control Committee, chaired by General Cecil Esekhaigbe (rtd), will focus on resolving herders and farmers clashes by regulating livestock movements and ranching activities.

The Boundary Committee, led by Deputy Governor Dennis Idahosa, will tackle persistent boundary conflicts within Edo and adjoining states such as Lagos, Ondo, Delta, and Kogi.

Both committees comprise experienced members tasked with implementing solutions aligned with the governor’s security and development agenda.
