The awards highlight the need for stronger support of African-made brands, as the report showed a decline in African brand loyalty despite growing optimism about the continent.

United Nations and Brand Africa officials emphasized the importance of promoting inclusive industrialization, regional integration, and investment in youth-led innovation to bolster African brands.
