Chris Brown has been denied bail in the UK following his arrest last week for allegedly assaulting music producer Abe Diaw at a London nightclub in 2023.

The assault charges involve grievous bodily harm with intent, with the prosecutor describing the incident, captured on CCTV, as “extremely serious.”

Brown remains in custody until his next court hearing scheduled for June 13, just two days before his Breezy Bowl tour is set to begin in the UK on June 15.

Previously banned from entering the UK due to a conviction for assaulting Rihanna, Brown’s ban was lifted in 2020, though it is unclear how the ongoing legal proceedings will impact his upcoming tour.
