China's Xi lands in Moscow to beef up 'no limits' Putin partnership

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Moscow for a three-day visit to reinforce the “no limits partnership” with Russian President Vladimir Putin amid ongoing tensions with the US over trade and the Ukraine conflict.
The visit includes attendance at the grand Victory Day parade marking the 80th anniversary of Nazi Germany’s defeat, where Xi is the guest of honour alongside 29 other foreign leaders.
China and Russia aim to strengthen strategic cooperation, oppose unilateralism, and promote a multipolar world, despite Western concerns about China’s support to Russia in the Ukraine war.
Russia has called for a ceasefire during the parade, but Ukraine criticized the gesture and opposed foreign troops’ participation, particularly condemning China’s military presence.
