China Reaffirms Support for Nigeria’s Infrastructure with Greater Abuja Water Project
Zhang Yi, China’s Charge d’Affaires in Nigeria, reaffirmed China’s support for Nigeria’s infrastructural growth during the commissioning of the Greater Abuja Water Supply Network.
The project, overseen by Minister Nyesom Wike, represents deepening China-Nigeria cooperation and was financially supported by China’s NEXIM Bank.
Yi highlighted the project’s alignment with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and its symbolism of strong bilateral friendship.
The commissioning is part of a series of infrastructure inaugurations in the Federal Capital Territory over 10 days under Wike’s leadership.
