Boy, 12, says his mother sold family land to enrol him in Yahoo centre
Image Credit: lindaikejisblog- Munachi Udochukwu, a 12-year-old boy from Anambra State, revealed that after his father’s death, his mother sold family land to enroll him in a Lagos internet fraud training centre.
- The centre, run by identified suspects including Chibike Iheijika and Stanley Iheijika, recruits youths to commit online fraud, with trainees taught how to deceive foreign and local victims.
- Munachi described harsh conditions at the centre, including severe punishments for mistakes and financial exploitation by the organizers.
- Lagos State Police dismantled the facility, arrested 10 suspects, and are investigating further to apprehend financiers and the facility owner.
