Bolt Launches Flight Tracking for Scheduled Rides New feature automatically updates airport pick-up times for delayed and cancelled flights
Bolt South Africa has introduced a new Flight Tracking feature for Scheduled Rides, allowing customers to sync their flight details for airport pick-ups that will automatically adjust for any delays or cancellations without extra charges.
Passengers can schedule rides by adding flight information through the Bolt app, and choose the desired pick-up timing post-landing, with automatic rescheduling based on live flight updates.
The feature supports major South African airports such as OR Tambo, Cape Town International, and King Shaka, enhancing reliability and convenience for both private and corporate users through Bolt Business.
This launch follows a 275% increase in local ride scheduling usage, aiming to reduce waiting times by better coordinating ride-hailing at busy airport queues.
