Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has expressed skepticism about winning the 2025 Ballon d’Or despite his crucial role in Barcelona’s domestic treble victory this season, including La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa de España titles.

In an interview with El Partizado de COPE, Yamal said winning the Ballon d’Or depends on lifting the Champions League and the World Cup.

He emphasized focusing on playing and winning instead of individual awards, stating that such honors will come in due time.
