Army, NAFDAC partner to eliminate fake drugs, food in South-East
Image Credit: vanguardngr- The Nigerian Army and NAFDAC have committed to intensifying their collaboration to eradicate fake and unwholesome drugs, food, and cosmetics in the South-East region.
- Maj.-Gen. Oluyemi Olatoye, GOC of the 82 Division, assured full Army support for NAFDAC’s enforcement operations, especially within military barracks’ Mammy Markets.
- NAFDAC representatives highlighted recent successes in seizing counterfeit products worth over N1 trillion and plan to conduct sensitization workshops for traders and military personnel.
- The partnership aims to improve regulatory enforcement and share confidential security information to combat criminality related to counterfeit goods.
