Android adds support for digital credentials

- Google has introduced support for digital credential presentation and issuance in Android via native integration of OpenID4VP and OpenID4VCI standards within the Credential Manager.
- This allows users to save and share cryptographically verifiable digital credentials, such as driver’s licenses, passports, education certificates, and memberships, across apps supporting the DigitalCredential API.
- Transfers of credentials occur over encrypted communication tunnels to ensure privacy and security.
- The feature is currently supported by Google Wallet and will come to Samsung Wallet and 1Password.
