Anambra State Approves Multi-Billion Naira Projects for Erosion Control and Public Infrastructure
The Anambra State Executive Council approved major projects for erosion control, flood mitigation, school rehabilitation, and road construction during its June 16, 2025 meeting.
Key contracts include a N3.5 billion erosion control project in Umunze and multi-billion naira road constructions at education campuses, awarded to various construction firms.
The council also allocated funds for completing a Country Club, rehabilitating roads, upgrading hospital facilities, installing road safety devices, and renovating school structures.
Additionally, Anambra launched a cultural reorientation program and driver retraining initiative to improve social values and road safety under the Soludo administration.
