Anambra State Approves Multi-Billion Naira Projects for Erosion Control and Public Infrastructure
Image Credit: dailypostThe Anambra State Executive Council approved major projects for erosion control, flood mitigation, school rehabilitation, and road construction during its June 16, 2025 meeting.
Key contracts include a N3.5 billion erosion control project in Umunze and multi-billion naira road constructions at education campuses, awarded to various construction firms.
The council also allocated funds for completing a Country Club, rehabilitating roads, upgrading hospital facilities, installing road safety devices, and renovating school structures.
Additionally, Anambra launched a cultural reorientation program and driver retraining initiative to improve social values and road safety under the Soludo administration.
