A devastating Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad on June 12 claimed 241 lives, including a doctor couple and their three young children, with only one survivor confirmed.

The family, comprising Dr. Komi Vyas, who recently left her hospital job to join her husband Dr. Prateek Joshi in London, were on board Air India Flight 171 to start a new chapter abroad.

A selfie taken by the couple on the flight, now circulating widely, captures their final joyful moment together.

Experts suggest the crash, occurring 32 seconds after takeoff, was caused by the aircraft losing thrust or lift, leading to a fatal descent and explosion.
