74 homeless persons arrested as Lagos state environmental taskforce raids under bridges in the state (video)

The Lagos State Environmental Taskforce conducted a raid on May 5, arresting 74 persons, including homeless individuals, around Lagos Island.
Areas targeted included Falomo bridge, Eko Hotel roundabout, Oniru Beach, Law School, Lekki Phase 1 and 2, and 1004 areas, noted for undesirable elements.
The group included 72 males and 2 females, with the elderly among those found sheltering under bridges.
Authorities plan to arraign the arrested individuals in court soon, aiming to restore sanitation and order in the locations.
